The evening will begin with wine tasting and cocktails, as gifted masters of Legerdemain dazzle with entertaining feats of magic. Then upstairs to the beautiful Recital Hall for Celebrity Readings of Shakespeare’s most magical scenes. We are delighted to be celebrating our 21st Main Stage season of Shakespeare’s plays. Earning widespread critical acclaim for its stunningly lucid, exciting productions, Frog & Peach makes Shakespeare come to life for thousands of New Yorkers of all incomes and educational backgrounds. Frog & Peach receives only modest government and foundation funding.  The lion’s share of our support comes from New Yorkers who care about the work we do–providing the special nourishment of Shakespeare to those who may feel shut out of the Cultural Conversation, who share our committment New York City’s students.  As word of our unique programs reaches the public, there is additional pressure to serve more teachers, students, and seniors–New Yorkers who are thirsting for enrichment–with free or discounted tickets.  Despite strained resources, we haven’t had to turn anyone away–yet.  To continue our important work, we need your help.
